Merry Pebbles Resort (accommodation, self catering, chalet's, bungalows, cottages, lodges, B&B, caravan and camping sites) is a family orientated holiday resort situated on the banks of the upper Sabie River within the municipal boundary of the mountain village Sabie. The town of Sabie a small forestry village is located 1050m above sea level on the Mpumalanga Escarpment centrally situated within the Panorama Route and is a malaria and bilharzia FREE area.

 Sabie is in a summer rainfall area with an average of 1000mm of rainfall annually. Summer temperatures range from an average minimum of 18ºC to a maximum average of 31ºC whilst the winter average low temperatures are 3ºC and average high’s of 23ºC

 At Merry Pebbles you will find a selection of accommodation from four to eight bed AA Highly Recommended self catering accommodation as well as 3 star graded caravan and camping sites. With a fully licensed a la Carte’ restaurant onsite, dinner, lunch, and breakfast is served, thus accommodation on a bed and breakfast or dinner bed and breakfast basis is also available. All group reservations will be quoted on dinner bed and breakfast rates.  

Merry Pebbles offers the traveller more than just a stop over, the resort is in itself a holiday destination with facilities ranging from heated and cold water pools, water slides, flood-lit tennis court, outdoor chess, entertainment hall, play parks, mountain bike and hiking trails, all ensuring that the entire family enjoy their vacation at this one stop holiday venue.

Sabie is centrally situated on the Panorama Route allowing easy access to all the popular tourist attractions within the vicinity including day trips to the Kruger National Park (the Phabeni gate) only 52km away, Gods Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and numerous waterfalls to mention a few.
